Love & Hip Hop Atlanta’s Tommie Lee Officially Charged for Beating Up Mall Employee

“Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” star Tommie Lee has officially been charged for allegedly beating up a mall employee.

According to TMZ, the Solicitor General’s Office charged Tommie with battery with substantial harm for her part in the alleged incident, which happened at Henri Bendel store in Atlanta’s Lenox Square mall back in February. Tommie is accused of punching and slapping an employee at the store.

The police report states that Tommie and an unknown male walked into the store on February 1st and got into an argument with an employee named Daniella. The argument escalated and Tommie allegedly went behind the employee counter and attacked Daniella. After the manager of the store broke up the fight, Tommie and her friend fled the scene before cops arrived, but the whole incident was captured on camera and authorities opened up an investigation.

After a warrant was issued for her arrest, Tommie was forced to turn herself in last month for the alleged attack, and was booked on a misdemeanor battery charge. She posed for a mugshot and all (above), and had to spend one night in the Fulton County Jail. She was released after she saw a judge and posted a $3,000 bond. As she was walking out, a TMZ reporter asked her about the incident, and she said, quoting Shaggy’s 2000 hit, “It wasn’t me.”

TMZ reports that Tommie has a hearing about the incident next week, and she’ll have to answer to TWO separate issues—her alleged mall beatdown and her 2016 DUI case. “She’d be wise to show up … not one, but TWO warrants for her arrest were already issued in this whole saga,” TMZ says.

If she doesn’t end up in jail over this, Tommie better sit her angry ass down somewhere before she ends up like her ex-boyfriend Scrapp DeLeon.

Scrapp DeLeon Prison Release: When Does the LHHATL Star Get Out of Jail?

Scrapp DeLeon could be a free man soon!

One of the biggest (and probably the most real) storylines on Love & Hip Hop Atlanta was the Season 5 imprisonment of new cast member Scrapp DeLeon. Scrapp (real name: Will Cortez Robinson) was originally sentenced to 20 years behind bars on a drug trafficking charge (for marijuana), and he turned himself in to begin his sentence in March 2016.

Court documents stated that the first five years of Scrapp’s sentence was to be “served in confinement” and the rest would be “served on probation.” His projected release date was January 2021, but, if recent reports are to be believed, it looks like that date has changed and his overall sentence has been reduced.

According to Starcasm, Scrapp had originally been serving his sentence out of Taliaferro County, Georgia, which is where he was arrested with “a LOT of marijuana” in his car on May 13, 2014. While the exact amount he was caught with hasn’t been disclosed, his amount reportedly fell into the 10-2,000 pound range, which, according to Georgia state law, is classified as a felony, and comes with a five-to-twenty-year sentence, as well as a fine of up to $100,000.

Scrapp, however, was later transferred out of Taliaferro County to another facility—Macon State Prison in Oglethorpe, Georgia. Since then, he was transferred a second time to Autry State Prison near Pelham, Georgia and had a new mugshot taken:

And now, according to the most recent records, he has apparently been transferred back to Macon State Prison, where he had yet another mugshot taken:

So, the question remains, when does Scrapp DeLeon get out of jail, and is it anytime soon?

Well, on a recent episode of “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta,” Scrapp’s mother, Karen “KK” King, met with her son’s bail bondsman, who was able to offer some insight into Scrapp’s prison release, and he had some good news. Scrapp could be released as soon as July 2019, a year and a half before his initial January 2021 release date.

Based on Karen and Scrapp’s reaction, however, that wasn’t “good news” to them as they were expecting an earlier release due to him being on good behavior in prison.

“That’s crazy,” Scrapp said over the phone. “That’s ridiculous… I ain’t have no disciplinary infraction… That don’t even make sense to me. I’m in prison on a non-violent drug trafficking charge. They only want a third of the time, you gotta call the parole board Ma, see what’s going on, and put a fire up under their ass and, you know, try to get some answers.”

So, for now, unless something changes, it looks like Scrapp will be released from prison in July 2019.

Good News! Facebook Live Shooting Victim Devyn Holmes Is Talking, Family Says

It’s been nearly a month since Devyn Holmes was shot in the head by a woman playing with a loaded gun during a live stream on Facebook, and his family says he recently spoke his first words since the incident.

KTRK reports that the family of Devyn Holmes said that he whispered the word “alright” in response to someone telling him something.

More via KTRK:

The incident happened while Devyn was inside a vehicle with a woman and another man outside a Valero gas station on Almeda and Southmore in southwest Houston on Easter Sunday.

The woman, identified as Cassandra Damper, allegedly fired the shot. Damper has been charged with aggravated assault with reckless serious bodily injury. Devyn was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Since the shooting, Devyn’s family has provided updates on his progress on a Facebook page and through a GoFundMe account that has raised nearly $40,000.

“The family strongly believes that the prayers and support they have received from all over the nation and the world are fueling Devyn’s remarkable recovery,” family attorney Shanna Hennigan said in a statement.

“The whole world. When I say the whole world, I’ve been getting prayers from everywhere. The whole world is praying for him and I really appreciate that,” said Sheree Holmes, Devyn’s mother.

Along with following Devyn’s recovery online and leaving well wishes, others may want to show support in other ways.

You can buy a bracelet on the Do It For Devyn Facebook page. The bands are $5.

The week after the shooting, Holmes’ family said he had opened his eyes and his condition was improving, so the fact that he is now talking is a huge step in his overall recovery.

Holmes reportedly remains in stable condition at Ben Taub Hospital, and our thoughts and prayers are with him as he recovers.
