WTF is going on with Bow Wow right now? Someone should go check on him because he’s having another one of those meltdowns again.
In a series of erratic tweets Monday (Jul. 30), the 31-year-old rapper/actor went off on his critics, said he wanted to give away all of his money, and threatened to quit music and get a job at GameStop.
It all started when someone on Twitter accused him of cheating on his girlfriend Kyomi Leslie. Bow Wow went all the way off on them, tweeting, “Bitch get the f*** off our timeline. U live in nyc! Dont be tweeting my wife that dumb ass sh**. For you get your f***ing block knocked off. Die slow bitch.”
Then Bow Wow went off on the rest of the world, including bloggers and “ugly I shop at Lane Bryant bitches.”
He tweeted: “I dont do cameras u stupid bitch! Come in my section recording! So we shut your bright a** camera down u got mad so u tweet my bitch. Id pay a bitch 1000 to slap the lacefront off yo dusty a**! This goes for the rest of you hoes! Leave me and mine the f**k alone.
“Yo! I’ma say it once and last! I’m tired of you dusty ugly bitches. Im not the one! I will go to jail over mine think Im f***ing playing. U ugly broke dirt around the neck a** bitches leave us the f*** alone. And I say this with love.
“I don’t give a f**k about that lil money or your cheap a** phone. Dont ever come for me or mine ever you ugly bitch! You can clown all day about me but once u put my girl in it I’m trippin! F*** this famous sh**.”
Bow Wow then said in another series of since-deleted tweets: “Ima quit all this sh**. Down size my home. Sale everything. And go work at gamestop. Id probably be the happiest man in the world. Trade my cars in and buy a PROBE.
“I hate all you fucking bloggers too! Shaderoom I f*** with. All you other gossiping a** hateful sites F*** YOU!” he said. “SMASH OR PASS BULLSH** I WOULDN’T F*** YOU UGLY I SHOP AT LANE BRYANT BITCHES EVER! F*** YOU!
“When I land I gotta go see my therapist. I SEE RED AGAIN IM [BOUT] TO DO SOMETHING TO SOMEONE TODAY! Mafukkas keep playing with me. This go for you bloggers to… I’m not done I got time today.
He also vowed to give away all of his money and posted a screenshot of him sending a fan $500 as proof.
“Im cash apping all my money away today,” he wrote on Twitter.” So if you want some free money yall can have it… Lets see if you think money makes you happy.”
Bow Wow also brought up how he’s set to join his mentor Jermaine Dupri on the upcoming So So Def 25th Anniversary tour, but because he’s the “one that stirs up stuff,” he’s considering not being a part of it.
“I really dont want to mess up the so so def tour so im thinking about not going,” he tweeted. “Im the one that stirs up stuff im always in the news jd nem dont need that. So if I have to fall back I will.”
Fans were quick to point out Bow Wow’s erratic behavior, and his name was a trending topic on Twitter for a couple of hours.
Bruno Mars was blindsided by news of Cardi B pulling out of their joint tour to take care of his newborn baby, so much so that it’s being reported that his team is “scrambling” to find a replacement ASAP.
Sources connected to Bruno’s tour—slated to kick off in September—tell us he’s without an opener and, so far, there has been no replacement made for Cardi. We’re told Bruno’s people were burning up the phones Friday … starting conversations with reps from a number of musicians but nothing is close to being locked down.
Our sources say Cardi’s decision to back out of the tour has created some issues … dancers were hired, costumes made and stage backdrops built.
Back in February, Mars announced that Cardi would be joining him on the final leg of his 24K Magic Tour. However, last Thursday (Jul. 26), Cardi announced via Twitter that she “understated this whole mommy thing” and she’s “not ready physically” and “not ready to leave [her] baby behind since doctors explained it’s not healthy for her to be on the road.”
Bruno was supportive of Cardi’s decision to stay home and enjoy being a new mommy and replied with a heartfelt message, saying that the “most important thing is you and your family’s health” and “you are absolutely doing the right thing.”
He went to say that he loved her and would “play Bodak Yellow every night in your honor” before ending his message with “Please give your baby girl a hug from me and a hug on behalf of everyone on the 24K Magic Tour. Love, Bruno.”
And after days of working overtime to find a replacement for Cardi, it sounds like he’s already found someone to fill her spot.
Responding to a fan who asked who would be taking over, Bruno joked, “I got a cousin learning all of Cardi’s songs right now. It’s gonna be great! He’s super excited.” When asked if he would reveal who’s really replacing Cardi, Mars said “Nah.”
I got a cousin learning all of Cardi’s songs right now. It’s gonna be great! He’s super excited ? https://t.co/6RILW7wNQS
With the tour kicking off in September, Bruno should be making an announcement about who will be taking Cardi’s spot pretty soon. Of course, Cardi B is irreplaceable, but I’m sure he’s found someone good enough to fill her shoes.
Boonk posted a photo of himself laying in a hospital bed after getting shot Saturday (Jul. 28). While details about the shooting have been scarce, a number of theories are being passed around online, with most popular one being that he may have shot himself, either accidentally or on purpose (or accidentally on purpose).
Knowing Boonk Gang, him shooting himself is no surprise. Plus, there haven’t been any confirmed news reports of him being shot, which is usually par the course anytime gunfire is exchanged between individuals and someone goes to the hospital.
According to Media Take Out, the rapper/social media personality shot himself in the leg “while recording a video FOR LIVE.” They never specified the platform Boonk was streaming on, and we haven’t seen any videos floating around of him shooting himself, so that’s probably not true. But, there is a strong possibility that he did shoot himself.
Boonk told fans he’s got “street problems” and suggested his gunshot wounds came from an enemy opening fire on him, but an insider at the hospital says his bullet wounds were “self-inflicted.” He was questioned by police, but they left without charging the social media star with anything.
Regardless of how he shot himself, Boonk appears to be fine now. He wrote on Twitter Saturday evening: “N***as get shot everyday, I’m cooling!”
He also posted a Snap earlier today showing him drinking Pedialyte. “Real n***as sip on Pedialyte, nom saying?” he said.
Prior to yesterday’s shooting incident, Boonk posted a number of troubling messages on Twitter, possibly as a cry for help:
Boonk also said on Snapchat that he didn’t know whether he wanted to live or die. “I just want this pain taken away from me,” he said.
And he also posted a bunch of videos showing him crying and clearly not in a good place:
The past 30 days or so have been pretty eventful for Boonk Gang. Nom saying?
He started randomly posting videos of him having sex on his Instagram Stories in late June and by early July was banned from the app. He also went viral last week after a video went viral of him falling and hitting his head on a wall after showing up high as hell to an interview on the No Jumper podcast with Adam 22.
And it’s not just happening to us regla black folks either. Black celebrities are also becoming victims of #ExistingWhileBlack.
Ving Rhames says he was held at gunpoint by police in his Santa Monica home after a neighbor called 911 to report that a “large black man” had broken into his house. The actor recalled the incident Friday (Jul. 27) during an appearance on Sirius XM’s Clay Cane show, saying that he was the “large black man” who was caught breaking into his own house.
Rhames said that he was sitting in his Santa Monica, California one afternoon when police knocked on his door and pointed a gun at him until they realized who he was.
“This is the God’s honest truth. This happened this year,” Rhames said. “I open the door and there is a red dot pointed at my face from a 9-mm, and they say ‘put up your hands,’ literally,” Rhames said.
Rhames—known for his extensive filmography which includes movies like “Pulp Fiction,” “Missing: Impossible,” “Rosewood,” “Con Air,” “Baby Boy,” “Holiday Heart” and more—said he was wearing nothing but basketball shorts when he stepped outside his house and was surrounded by several police officers and a police dog.
Thankfully, the chief of police recognized him, not due to his fame, but because their children both play on the same sports team. Rhames said he then spoke with the officers to find out why they were threatening to shoot him inside his own home, and that’s when they told him that a neighbor had called to report a break-in by a “large black man.”
Rhames said police gave him the neighbor’s address, and when he went to their house accompanied by an officer to confront them about calling the police on him, they denied the whole thing.
Rhames said his biggest concern was what would’ve happened if his young son had answered the door instead of him. “What if it was my son and he had a video game remote or something and you thought it was a gun. I don’t know, just like Trayvon [Martin] had a bag of Skittles,” the actor said.
Boonk Gang showed off a disturbing image on Snapchat Friday afternoon (Jul. 28) of him lying in a hospital bed before revealing in subsequent Snaps that he “got shot twice.” One of the Snaps showed one of his gunshot wounds—a pretty big hole in his leg.
The 21-year-old rapper and social media sensation, whose real name is John Robert Hill Jr., also posted videos showing him in the car, apparently after leaving the hospital, with blood seeping through his hospital pants.
“Look, I’m bleeding through my sh**,” he said. “My fans need to know that Boonk Gang living a real life, and I’m going through real problems,” he said wincing through the pain. “F***, that sh** hurts.”
Although we’re unsure of the severity of his injuries, he looked distressed in the Snaps, even seemingly crying in one due to the pain of being shot in the leg.
“My sh** leaking bruh,” he said laughing with tears welled up in his eyes. “I got shot twice. F*** it.” He said in another video posted a couple of hours after the first few, “Boonk Gang still out here, you know what I’m saying?” before ending his Snapchat story with his trademark phrase, “Whole lotta gang sh**.”
News of him getting shot shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone who follows Boonk, who brands himself as a troublemaker on social media.
He first rose to prominence last year after videos went viral showing him stealing food from restaurants like Popeyes and Dunkin Donuts and running off while yelling “Boonk Gang! Whole lotta gang sh**!” He was later arrested for that, among other things, but continued to post videos of him running off with stuff while yelling his “whole lotta gang sh**” catchphrase.
Earlier this month, his Instagram was shut down after he was caught sharing a number of X-rated videos to his IG stories. The NSFW videos showed him performing oral sex, receiving oral sex, and having sexual intercourse, all of which are against the social media app’s rules. Shortly after posting the clips, he took to Twitter to let his fans know “I like to have a lot of sex.”
He’s continued to upload NSFW videos on Twitter, where the rules aren’t as strict.
Before sharing on Snapchat that he had gotten shot twice, he posted videos of himself hanging out with friends at a pool and sharing what sounds like new music. “Yall ready for my next project or what?” he wrote in the caption of one of the clips.
But another series of videos, taken two weeks ago according to the timestamp, showed him in a state of depression. “No matter how happy I seem I’m hurting inside… badly,” the caption of one video read. Another video showed him crying and wiping tears from his face.
“I’m not a crack head or a junkie I just have real life issues going on. Celebrity/rapper I have real feelings and a good heart but the world ruined me. IDK if I wanna live or die, I just want this pain [taken] away from me,” he wrote to his fans in one post. “I been thru a lot and I want y’all to know I feel the same pain y’all feel and I guaranteed for a fact I been thru what y’all been thru. I’ma gangsta, but on some real sh** it’s hard and I try to keep a smile to keep y’all smiling. I love y’all,” he shared in another.
Earlier this week, a video went viral showing him falling and hitting his head on a wall after showing up high as hell to an interview on the No Jumper podcast with Adam 22.
Throughout the interview, he was sloppy, slurring his words and could barely put together a coherent sentence. The following day, a series of posts on Twitter revealed that he was battling depression and used drugs to numb the pain.
“Drugs make everything feel better,” he tweeted. “My whole life [people] pushed me away. Acting like they care about me. I do drugs because I feel alone. When I’m high I feel nothing. When I’m sober I feel everything.”
Beyoncé and JAY-Z are pretty guarded when it comes to showing off their kids, so whenever they do, it’s kinda like a big deal.
Earlier this week, Beyoncé uploaded a slew of photos showing the Carters living their best lives on a luxury yacht they chartered for a vacation in Europe following the conclusion of the European leg of her “On The Run II Tour” with husband JAY-Z.
One photo shows her standing in a mini-pool and looking completely unbothered while wearing a black and white ruffled swimsuit (which probably costs more than your rent) and a pair of chic sunglasses with a refreshing orange-colored beverage in her hand, looking like a mini-Yoncé.
Another photo shows her wearing an adorable zigzag-patterned two-piece bikini she matched with a statement necklace, straw hat and pink shirt, again with a pair of sunglasses.
She can also be seen meditating with Beyoncé in other photos, and spending time with mom and grandma Tina Lawson in other photos. One pic shows Bey and Blue wearing matching pink outfits.
Twitter immediately took notice of Blue Ivy’s worry-free European yacht vacation.
50 Cent refuses to let his beef with Floyd Mayweather go.
In a recent Instagram post that has since been deleted, 50 referenced a “little altercation” that Floyd was recently involved in at Pollo Tropical (a popular restaurant chain in Florida and Georgia). “That was nothing,” he said. “They just checking your temperature.”
He added that Mayweather is “the man in the ring,” but “in the street,” 50 told Floyd he would “hand [him his] ass … True story.”
We don’t know where this latest threat is coming from, and what inspired him to issue it, considering Floyd hasn’t responded to any of his posts in days, but this is 50 Cent we’re talking about. He doesn’t need a reason to be petty.
In another post, 50, once again, reminded the world of Floyd’s documented history of physical abuse against women. He shared a police statement written by Mayweather’s 18-year-old son Koraun written years ago detailing an incident in which Floyd attacked his mom.
Good news: Insecure Season 3 debuts in a few weeks! Bad news (for #TeamLawrence): Lawrence, played by actor Jay Ellis, will not be a part of the show’s third season.
Fans of the hit HBO series were thrilled when the Season 3 trailer was released online a few weeks ago, but when it got to the end, one question was on the minds of many: Where the heck is Lawrence?
Well, according to Insecure showrunner Prentice Penny and lead actress Issa Rae herself, Jay Ellis’ character was completely written out of the show so that they could “stay as true to life as possible.”
Issa explained during the third annual Insecure Fest in L.A. last weekend:
“We want to stay as true to life as possible. They had a great conversation at the end of season two and it was just about like, hey, she’s moving on with Daniel [Y’Lan Noel], sometimes we have those conversations. You never see the exes again. And it’s okay! You gotta explore life without Lawrence.”
“At the end of the day, we’re always trying to tell stories that are true and authentic. We were in the writers’ room and we were initially talking about, Okay, well what is he doing?… Well, he’s not in her life right now. It was hard to make stories around that.
“We just said, well, if he’s not around, he’s not around. Let’s just deal with the reality of what her life is now. Let’s be true to that, when you breakup and you have closure.”
Like it or not, it seems Lawrence’s exit will make way for new potential suitors in Issa’s life. “It was also like, well where is Issa in her life right now? What would challenge that? And you’ll see lots of people who are her love interest kind of come in and out,” Penny teases.
And there won’t just be one new guy, but a few. “Or guys?… Guys! Maybe. I think people will be rooting for her like they kind of always do, to make the right choice.”
So, there you have it, folks. Lawrence will NOT be a part of Insecure Season 3, but that doesn’t mean that he won’t be written back into the show in future seasons. #LawrenceHive, keep hope alive!
Insecure Season 3 will premiere on HBO on Sunday, August 12th at 10:30 p.m. EST. Watch the trailer below:
Three down, one to go! The third XXXTentacion murder suspect is in custody, and it’s all thanks to U.S. Marshals.
The U.S. Marshals’ Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force located 22-year-old Robert Allen at his sister’s home in Eastman, Georgia Wednesday (Jul. 25), hundreds of miles from Broward County, Florida, where he lives and where XXXTentacion was shot and killed last month. Authorities said Allen’s sister cooperated with officers when they showed up to arrest him.
